Quantum-Ready for BFSI in the ASEAN Region

This session shares real experience working with MODA and FSC in Taiwan, and DICT and BSP in the Philippines, to understand their guidelines and roadmaps for supporting the Taiwanese and Philippine BFSI sectors in migrating to PQC, starting from helping them become quantum-ready.

It shares real use cases covering how large national banks plan to build a golden inventory, what should be considered when preparing them to start PQC inventory and assessment, and which approach and methodology they adopt to start the assessment and the journey of PQC migration. For example, most of the banks would only adopt an agentless tool for cryptographic asset scanning; the session looks at which areas they usually start with and how they manage the data afterwards, as well as the role of the national cybersecurity authority and the central bank in driving this.
