The Agence Nationale pour la Sécurité Informatique et la Certification Électronique (ANSICE) is the national authority of the Republic of Chad responsible for information systems security and electronic certification. ANSICE oversees the development of Chad’s national digital trust infrastructure, including the implementation of a Sovereign National Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) designed to support e-government services, electronic signatures, citizen digital identity, and interoperability across national platforms.

As the competent authority for cybersecurity and electronic certification, ANSICE operates at the intersection of national security policy, digital transformation, and regulatory oversight. The Agency is currently developing Chad’s Root Certificate Authority, subordinate CAs, and a network of Registration Authorities across the country’s 22 administrative regions, with integration into key national platforms including the national authentication gateway, the national payment system, and the National Datacenter.

ANSICE is committed to advancing sovereign, inclusive, and interoperable digital trust infrastructure in Central Africa, in alignment with African Union digital transformation frameworks and the emerging Africa PKI ecosystem.
