WE ARE AT THE HEART OF TECHNOLOGY

As Türkiye’s biggest R&D centre, TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Research Center (BİLGEM) carries out technological R&D studies that ensure the security, integrity, secure transmission and storage of military and civilian information in order to ensure our country’s technological independence in the field of information security and informatics. With more than 50 years of knowledge, experience and more than 2,000 human resources, our Centre conducts scientific and technological research at international standards.

The National Public Key Infrastructure (MA3) is a unit established in 2001 under TÜBİTAK BİLGEM’s National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology (UEKAE). Its primary goal is to develop public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies and make it available for use by institutions and companies. Within the MA3 unit, HSM, cryptographic APIs, certificate lifecycle management applications, timestamp servers, and various client applications are being developed. The product portfolio includes solutions compliant with industry standards and with holding Common Criteria (CC) certification.

Asil YARDIMCI

Chief Researcher

Asil YARDIMCI is chief research engineer and software developer at National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology (UEKAE) which is affiliated to TÜBİTAK BİLGEM. With over 10 years of experience in the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) domain, Asil has primarily focused on developing PKI services for Electronic Certificate Service Providers. He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science.
