SUMMARY:Scaling Quantum Safe: How HSBC Transitions from Early Momentum to E
 nterprise Execution
DESCRIPTION:Quantum Safe transformation is emerging as a critical strategic
priority for financial institutions\, though most organisations are still
in relatively early stages of structured execution. This session shares HSB
C's experience in evolving its Quantum Safe journey from a collection of ea
rly initiatives into a structured enterprise programme designed for long-te
rm migration.\n\nAs a global financial institution operating across complex
technology landscapes\, HSBC recognised that successful cryptographic tran
sformation requires more than identifying vulnerable algorithms or testing
new technologies. It requires alignment across business priorities\, techno
 logy domains\, governance structures\, third-party ecosystems\, operational
processes\, and future investment decisions. The session explores how HSBC
approached this transition by consolidating existing insights\, validating
readiness\, strengthening alignment across stakeholders\, and creating the
foundations for the next stage of execution: moving from awareness and exp
erimentation into an enterprise transformation mindset\, strengthening boar
 d-level visibility\, and building the governance\, ownership\, and executio
n model needed for a multi-year journey.\n\nRather than focusing only on te
chnology change\, this session highlights the organisational and strategic
lessons behind scaling Quantum Safe adoption in a large financial instituti
 on.\n\n\nSpeakers: Antti Ropponen\, Alejandro Montblanch
