SUMMARY:Workshop: Post-Quantum Trails Board Game
DESCRIPTION:This interactive\, hands-on workshop is centred around Post-Qua
ntum Trails\, an educational board game designed to demystify the complexit
ies of migrating to post-quantum cryptography (PQC)\, a joint project broug
ht to life by Cybernetica and the OpenSSL Foundation.\n\nAs quantum computi
ng advances\, the transition to quantum-safe cryptographic standards is no
longer optional\; it has become urgent. Yet for many developers and stakeho
lders\, the migration process feels overwhelming and too abstract. The game
brings this journey to life\, guiding players through the real-world chall
enges of developing\, standardizing\, and deploying PQC solutions\, and hig
hlighting both the technical problems and the strategic trade-offs involved
.\n\nParticipants will learn about the PQC landscape\, understand the risks
of delayed migration\, and engage in a collaborative simulation that refle
cts actual industry challenges. Earlier versions of this workshop have been
run at the OpenSSL Conference and NordSec 2025\, and the facilitators will
introduce the game\, explain the rules\, and be on hand throughout to help
players\, answer questions\, and discuss the awareness aspect of PQC migra
 tion.\n\n\nSpeakers: Jelizaveta Vakarjuk\, Nikita Snetkov
